Karsten Kirchner studied graphic design in Munich before going on to manage a successfull advertising design studio for several years.Today he is freelance designer and devotes all his time to his art.

As a painter Karsten uses his natural surroundings to inspire his work whether it is in the creation of a flower motif in soft,muted colours,a still life composition or a golden landscape bathed in sunshine.His paintings are full of expression and his highly textural style creates a warmth and gentleness in his work.
